"Decided to go for Good Friday after seeing some really recent online videos showing off the menu. The food was very good and well presented and the atmosphere at the bar was vibrant. Unfortunately however the service was really lacking, I’m not sure if they were short staffed but one poor girl seemed to be running around looking after two rooms. Drinks wise we were constantly empty and meant a number of times I had to go to the bar whilst eating, and we were never asked if the food was ok or if we needed anything else. Also at the end we waited close to an hour for someone to come and take payment only for them never to come and ended up paying at the entrance before leaving. Positives for sure but definite room for improvement also."

"Stopped here for food with kids. Hiked nearby and was hungry. Burger is a burger. Nicely presented but that's about it. Too expensive in my view. The place itself has a nice decor , and feels really warm. Loved the cellar toilets Dog friendly"

"A nice place to have a chat and enjoy the relaxing surroundings. Parking is a little tight unless there's more that I didn't see around the back. We enjoyed some small starters to share and had a couple of soft drinks and coffees which came in just under £40 with tip so reasonably priced. Vinny showed us to our table and was very polite and attentive as we're the other staff members."

"Food was great when it came. Unfortunately we seem to have landed on a Friday night with only two serving staff on. Waited 20 minutes and still no one asked what we wanted to drink. Went to bar and ordered. Ordered some bread and then had to ask for plates as didn’t come with bread. Didn’t get clean cutlery after using knives for starters and had to ask for salt and pepper to table when main course arrived. Basics need sorting as staff looked stretched - more staff on a Friday night and better staff training. That said, the young lady who served us was extremely pleasant and as I said earlier, couldn’t fault the food which was excellent."
